Terms of service

These terms form an agreement between Docflo Technologies ("Docflo", "we") and the firm or person who creates an account ("you"). By using Docflo you agree to them.

1. The service

Docflo helps professionals collect, organise and track documents from their clients, using WhatsApp, upload links and email. Automated document classification and data extraction are aids for your staff and may contain errors; you remain responsible for reviewing documents and for all professional work and filings. Docflo does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice and never files anything with any authority.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by your staff.
• You must have a lawful basis, including any consent required, to add your clients' details and to message them.

3. WhatsApp

If you connect WhatsApp, you must follow WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies. The QR (linked device) option uses a non-official method; WhatsApp may restrict numbers that send too many messages. Docflo limits sending speed but cannot guarantee that a number will not be restricted, and is not liable for any restriction. Do not use Docflo to send promotional or unsolicited messages.

4. Plans, payment and taxes

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Razorpay. Prices exclude GST, which is added at the applicable rate.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• If a payment fails, you have a grace period of 7 days, after which the account becomes read-only until payment is made. We do not delete data because of non-payment.
• Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Docflo to break the law, upload malware, send spam, infringe others' rights, attempt to access other firms' data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do so.

6. Your data

You own the data and documents you and your clients put into Docflo. You give us permission to process them only to provide and improve the service as described in our privacy policy. You can export your data at any time.

7. Availability

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced in the dashboard in advance where possible.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Docflo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including penalties or interest arising from late or incorrect filings. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. After closure, data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the place of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.
